How to access fishing in Kiribati waters
- Send your request to Director of Fisheries (using Contact feature and selecting Fisheries License) showing interest and types of fishing operation to be conduct within the fishery limit of Kiribati.
- All vessels shall have good standing record or notification from both Forum Fisheries Agency and WCPFC.
- Active Vessel Monitoring System
- Valid Fishing Agreement with the Kiribati government.
- Vessels Day Scheme (VDS) is now in place for all vessels fish in Kiribati.
